GTA CW - Achieving 101.34% Completion - Just When You Thought it Couldn't Get Any More Glitchy!
0When it comes to Chinatown Wars, the Mobile Platforms (Android and iOS) have so many Statistical Glitches! For one, if you complete a Save on iOS and then load it up in an Android Device, your Mission Passed/Failed/Attempted Stats will be royally messed up. Not only that, but also the days passed in game as well as the number of times you saved the game, and there might be others that I did not pick up on! I am not sure what happens when you complete a Save originally on an Android Device and then loaded it up on an iOS Device, but I suspect something similar or identical happening.
On Mobile, by 100%, having 49 Mission Failures recorded in the Stats means ZERO while on PSP by 100%, having 8 Mission Failures recorded in the Stats means ZERO.
Meanwhile, you can also do like the Video shows on Mobile. Once you reach 100% and have access to the Xin Missions ***WHICH ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR 100%*** you can complete both of them and the game percentage will actually reach beyond 100%, 101.34% to be exact! This isn't anything new, but I thought I show it anyways. Besides, I never actually cared to pass these Missions just for fun in the past until now.
P.S. - Since I am using an Android Emulator (Nox) and with a PS3 Controller, some of the buttons are not mapped out properly, so that is why you saw me struggling using the Rhino Tank during the first or two Xin Missions! I also intended to show the game completion being 100% exactly BEFORE both Missions and then the 101.34% AFTER the Missions, but totally forgot to show it BEFORE. No worries as it's just the 1st 100% Save File from August 2016 that I assembled and shown the Stats the other day in a Video, so you already can see it's 100% before doing these two Missions for Xin!
Also, these Xin Missions ONLY APPEAR on the Mobile Versions of Chinatown Wars! I believe you USED TO BE ABLE to get them on PSP way back in the day with linking your Social Club or some nonsense, but you can NOT DO THAT ANYMORE IN 2020! Same case for Nintendo DS if I am not mistaken! With that said, there is NO Melanie Mallard Missions on Mobile, which means, NO Unique Gumshoe that is obtainable since the one in "Scrambled" can NOT be obtained! I prefer having those Melanie Mallard Missions and the obtainable Unique Gumshoe over these two easy Xin Missions that unlock after 100% and then glitch up your game percentage on Mobile!
