GTA III Tips and Tricks: God Mode ANY TIME
0In this Video, I show how to get God Mode (Invincibility) for Claude!
***This can NOT be SAVED, it's only temporary! You can put Claude in the water, he won't die, but he won't be able to run out of the water and be stuck there, thus requiring you to reload! Also, if you're driving inside a Vehicle that is on fire and about to explode, you ALSO will blow up and DIE in the process despite God Mode being in effect!***
For this to work, you need a Grenade, some patience, and some luck! The process is very simple, but it takes many tries to actually pull this off, believe it or not, and this is why I haven't gotten around to making a Video about this despite knowing how it's done and the existence of it for several years now. Simply try and enter a locked Police Car in traffic. The moment you press the button to enter the Vehicle, move backward, try and throw a Grenade near or directly on the Police Car, and then press the button to enter the Police Car once more. If done successfully, you WON'T GET BUSTED when the Cop aims his Gun at you to bust you when you sit inside the Police Car and this is when God Mode is given to Claude. Most times, you'll get busted, not enter the Police Car, and other stuff that gets annoying with each repeated time trying this. The whole process involves disrupting the Cop Animation while you enter the Police Car and while it blows up. Honestly, I can't even explain it. I just tried following several other Videos of this that I seen, but it was always more difficult since those Videos were always on PC where the Player can...Run backward with Claude, or...Jump backward with Claude. Try that on PS2. Can't. Try that on Mobile. Can't. Try that on Xbox. Can't. And because of that, I found this to be a bit more difficult since you physically have to turn Claude around, throw a Grenade, and then turn him back around on PS2.
Interestingly enough, just for fun, I did this within a few tries and without recording it. Then said, ok, simple enough, tried recording it, and 50 minutes has passed since I first succeeded! Like I said, it's very luck based, hit or miss, requires precision and perfect timing for it all to work out. Just glad I can finally show this in a Video as I wanted to YEARS ago when I started work on doing random Tips and Tricks Videos for the entire GTA Series. Maybe I will do some more Videos. We'll see.
I adjusted my Video Recording Software Settings, by the way, if you haven't noticed. This Video is also recorded using PCSX2 as I am too lazy to connect my PS2 Slim and all the Elgato Recording Hardware just to show small Videos like these. I already know for a fact this works on a real PS2, anyways. I'd note and let you know if it's Emulator Only, which...Is basically NONE of my Videos as I've recorded 95% of the entire Channel using real Consoles before experimenting just for fun using PCSX2, PPSSPP, Nox, etc, etc.
