GTA V Special Vehicle Guide: EM Conversion (Read Description)
0In this Video, I show how to convert a Vehicle into EM form (Exclusive Modification) in Free Roam at any time. After I convert a Police Cruiser into EM, I reload the Save and show that it's still there.
***I've tried this a handful of times on Old Gen (PS3) and Version 1.00 and it NEVER WORKED! However, I heard reports from others who tried it on Version 1.00, but for Xbox360, and it WORKED, but barely. It certainly works if you have Patches fully installed for Old Gen and it also certainly works if you are on PS4, XboxOne, and PC. If you're on Old Gen and specifically Version 1.00, I wouldn't even bother doing this. In the end, it's not anything SPECIAL, but rather just RARE and something "fun" to do and mess around with, so Old Gen Version 1.00 Players are not missing anything at all.***
Now, this is ONLY an EM Conversion! This is NOT an EC/EM Conversion like you can do in San Andreas already. Notice, I modded Michael's Personal Vehicle (Tailgater) to the maximum, but only SOME Modifications from Los Santos Customs are actually on my EM Police Cruiser. The Horn didn't stick, the Tire Smoke didn't stick, the Bulletproof Tires didn't stick, etc, etc. But what DOES seem to stick is the Tires being "Custom Tires" and not only that, but also the ENGINE UPGRADES seem to stick! You can clearly hear the Turbo that was installed and the Police Cruiser is MUCH faster and has better acceleration. At the end of the Video, I drive it in a straight line and then nearly died; stupid traffic spawns in the WORST moments imaginable in V and I was going pretty damn fast.
I believe, depending on WHICH Vehicle you are modding in Los Santos Customs and WHICH exact Mods, you can even have MORE on the Police Cruiser. I've seen a Video where someone modded a Penumbra, and when they switched back to who had the Police Cruiser, theirs had a small Spoiler on it, as well, whereas in this Video of mine, I didn't get a Spoiler to save on there. Again, this has nothing to do with making Vehicles EC or PP or anything like that, but specifically to add random Modifications onto other Vehicles that normally wouldn't be able to enter Los Santos Customs. You can do this with a lot of Vehicles, in fact, even Planes! In the end, no EM Vehicle in GTA V is SPECIAL and all of them will just be RARE and infinitely obtainable at any time!
The Method is simple. Just mod ANY Vehicle you want, steal a Police Vehicle (or any Vehicle for that matter, but make it one that normally can't enter Los Santos Customs) and dunk it in the water (anywhere). At this point, just switch to another Character and then WAIT a good 30-45 real life seconds before switching back and when you switch back, you will notice your Character driving the Vehicle you just dunked into the water, but it has some Modifications present from the random Vehicle you upgraded previously in Los Santos Customs!
Just a mindless Conversion to do for fun after 100%.
