This Method will work EXACTLY as shown on PS2, Xbox, and PC since all of these Platforms/Versions have access to using the Taxi Driver Method and getting a Passenger in your Vehicle at ANY TIME whilst not on a Mission. Mobile and Definitive Edition are a little bit different. For instance, both can NOT use Taxi Driver as a means to convert and transport Vehicles and instead you will be relying on Mission Scripted Passengers and/or Thieves as a means to get a Passenger in your Vehicle. You can use Thieves with Android Version 1.6 and below but newer Versions have the Thieves Method not working anymore and only Mission Scripted Passengers work! As for Definitive Edition, you can use Mission Scripted Passengers OR Thieves, but you MUST BE playing on Version 1.02 or below because 1.03 for Definitive Edition has patched the Crusher Trick entirely, thus NO Methods work at all to convert Vehicles into DP anymore!
If you're using the Taxi Driver Method to convert/transport Vehicles, then you should know how it works. Get into a Taxi. Press and HOLD the button that will begin the Side Mission. Exit the Taxi and enter your Vehicle in which you want to convert into DP and RELEASE the button which will begin Taxi Driver inside another Vehicle not being a Taxi! At this point, go get a Passenger in your FRONT SEAT and drive up to the Crusher blocking the driver's side door. HOLD the button that will cancel Taxi Driver, exit your Vehicle, enter your Vehicle whilst pulling the Passenger out, and allowing the Crusher to drop the Vehicle back down to the ground before releasing the button. Do not release Taxi Driver too soon or it won't work! Now your Vehicle is in Ghost form and can drive through anything and fall through Blue Hell. It also can grow in size and slow your Vehicle down, so it's best to get it back to a Garage as soon as possible and once the Garage closes down on the Ghost Vehicle, it converts it into DP. If you exit a Ghost Vehicle and it's not inside a Garage, you can no longer get back inside of it, so keep that in mind!
Mission Scripted Passengers exist in various Missions and can be used as a way to get a Passenger in your front seat. Note that the next Staunton Island Story Mission that takes place in which you can do this for and use the Barracks OL would be "Kanbu Bust-Out." Alternatively, "Liberator" is another Mission to use. If you're using Mission Scripted Passengers, know that you should remove the passenger side door before using the Crusher. The Crusher can lift it before Claude has time to enter it!
DO NOT go to Phil to pass the Mission until AFTER you have teleported into the Rhino! If you pass the Mission and then try and teleport into it, it will never work! The only way you can enter it is by teleporting into it and it must be done DURING the Mission and BEFORE going to Phil to pass it at the very end!
Know that ALL Rhino's from a 6 Star Wanted Level or anywhere else for that matter are always BP/EP by default. The Rhino featured in this Mission is BP only, however, after the Garage closes down on it, it reverts to a BP/EP Rhino, like normal. The Rhino is NOT SPECIAL AT ALL! The only reason I am showing this is because it's the earliest moment you can get a Rhino and deliver it to the Emergency Vehicle Crane OR you can use it in an upcoming Mission to give it a SPECIAL Bomb, thus making it a Special Vehicle and one time only!
Thieves are not interested in the Barracks OL, thus the ONLY WAY to convert it would be using the Taxi Driver Method or a Mission Scripted Passenger in the end.
Fun Fact - The Barracks OL can spawn in THREE different Variations. It can be Roofless, resembling a Flatbed, it can spawn with a Roof that is opened with Metal Bars, like the Thumbnail shows, and then it can spawn with a Roof that is completely closed. If you play on Definitive Edition, the Barracks OL will ALWAYS SPAWN in the Roofless Variation no matter how many times you reload! No Variation is more special than another. It's only personal preference on which one you want to obtain for the visuals.
