GTA LCS Tips and Tricks: How to Do "See the Sight Before Your Flight" in the Beginning
In this Video, I show the FIRST (1) of TWELVE (12) "See the Sight Before Your Flight" Side Missions at the very beginning of the game and how to get from Portland to Staunton Island to Shoreside Vale and back to Portland at the end.
***For the Shoreside Vale Lift Bridge to become functioning at the beginning of the game, or before Shoreside Vale is actually unlocked yet, all you need to do is go to Shoreside Vale and activate "See the Sight Before Your Flight." Once activated, simply reload your Save and the Lift Bridge will now be functioning UNTIL you shut off your Console and reboot it the LONG WAY. Reloading the Save will keep the Lift Bridge temporarily working! Another Method to get it functioning is by loading up a Save that has Shoreside Vale unlocked already, then right after, loading up your Save where the Lift Bridge would not be functioning and now it WILL BE functioning. You must do this in order to accomplish any one of the twelve "Sights."***
***You will NEED the H/UH/WP PCJ-600 from 9MM Mayhem before attempting this. As long as 9MM Mayhem AS WELL AS Scooter Shooter AND AWOL Angel is passed, you will NOT get any added Mission Attempts from obtaining the PCJ-600!***
Now, in before someone tells me that I showed the EASIEST of the twelve "Sights" since I know this already. However, what's important is how I show the Lift Bridge functioning AND getting back to Portland from Staunton Island. In the beginning of the Video, I of course show how to get from Portland to Staunton Island, as well. What this means is you can freely travel using the H/UH/WP PCJ-600 from all three Islands in the beginning and can complete all twelve "Sights."
Heavy Vehicles, without the added DP Property on them, are very fragile! So if I were you, and to avoid Pay and Spray Visits in the Stats, I would go back to Portland after each "Sight" or two and park your PCJ-600 in the Garage and then continue on. By doing that, you won't lose the PCJ-600 in the process and will not need to use Pay and Spray to fix it. Just be careful driving and try not to crash or land very hard on the PCJ-600 since in LCS, that damages the Bike.
By completing ALL TWELVE (12) "Sights" in a Starter Save, you can get 1% extra added to your game completion. If you're at 47%, then you can actually be at 48%. If you're at 48%, you can actually be at 49%. 49% is the HIGHEST percentage possible before "Slacker" and after "Home Sweet Home."
*IF* you plan on actually doing "See the Sight Before Your Flight" in a Starter Save, I only recommend completing the first ELEVEN (11) and always saving the final one for later when Shoreside Vale is actually unlocked because the special Landstalker will do you NO GOOD having it in the tiny Portland Garage at the beginning of the game. Why would you want that in there when you plan on obtaining four other, different Special Vehicles from Portland, or maybe even five? It's just a nuisance to have in the beginning, so I always found it pointless to complete "See the Sight Before Your Flight" in the beginning. For my own personal Starter Save, I do not have ANY of the twelve "Sights" complete, however having the first eleven done might be beneficial since always having to do ALL twelve later on gets tedious when you do many Saves to 100% Completion like I did/do. I have to use about 55 minutes to speedrun all twelve "Sights" later on when Shoreside Vale becomes unlocked and it's very boring after awhile. If eleven were done in the beginning, I could just do the final one later and it wouldn't be so bad.
If for some reason you want the special Landstalker back to Portland after completing the final "Sight," it's not that hard to do it. Using the Bedford Point Pier as I show in the Video of getting back to Portland using the H/UH/WP PCJ-600, you would just launch the Landstalker off of here and jump out and have Toni land on the Pier. Then take a Boat back to Portland and you should find the Landstalker on land somewhere in Portland! The Landstalker, like the special Avenger, are "marked" so no matter how many Vehicles you touch after launching the Landstalker in the water won't matter!
