Downgrade Requirements: Social Club Account, Internet to download files.

Since December, last year, I decided I was going to build my own PC. As months go by, I got the parts one by one. I finally recieved the final component toward the end of last month and built it. It works perfectly and got all my games from my old PC to my current one. I also installed GTA V, since I was confident this would run it, which wouldn't be the case for my old one.

I even managed to downgrade 1.54 of GTA V (works on latest version, 1.57) from the Epic Games (Steam and Rockstar Launcher versions will work too), down to Patch 1.27 using Project 1.27. It was a simple program to install, located on this site if you want it: https://www.speedrun.com/gtav/guide/qhjzp

When the program asks for the location of the game, select the directory of the game folder. You'll need internet, so the program can download the 1.27 files. When you finish the whole setup, you can launch the game, or choose what version to play. If you're on the latest patch, click Downgrade located on the left side of the program to get to 1.27 and click the seperate Upgrade button to get back to the latest version. You pretty much don't need to copies of the game in order to play 1.27 or the latest, just change what version you want to play in the program.

You will need a social club account in order to play 1.27, and everytime you want to play on Patch 1.27, you have to launch through the Project 1.27 program, not through the PlayGTAV.exe or Epic Games Launcher, since for me, I end up with a frozen screen and a pop-up that says something about the Social Club authentication has failed, at the Rockstar Logo intro. This never happened to me when I click on Launch GTA V through the program. Also, after the downgrade, you'll get two different save file locations, one for 1.27 and one for the latest patch, located in My Documents. I have managed to load a save file assembled on the latest patch, on to 1.27, just moved it into the 1.27 save file folder.

This short clip I uploaded is a glitch that isn't present in the latest version, but still exists in 1.27, indicating that I successfully downgraded. You just have to aim the camera toward the pier, not out at sea, climb over the railing, go into first person and the Protagonist will change trajectory. They'll be launched into the air.

If anyone wants me to make a proper tutorial on how to downgrade, I may.
