They feel like they're trapped in some haunted hotel. The walls are scratched and stained. Yelling can be heard a few rooms away. Things are worse for Kaden thank it is for Braxton. He has bandages wrapped over almost the entirety of his forearm. Very light blood stains can be seen. Despite their mistakes, they both feel like they don't belong there. And that everyone else is different from them in a bad way. They even see the others as "lesser" in mentality. Some of them, at least. This place isn't all that bad. It's just unnerving, feeling the dread of what will happen next. The rooms they have to stay in offer a few books. You can request certain things as long as it's not suspicious. Reading is one way to pass the time. There's television but... meh. One book catches Kaden's eye. It's a science-themed book about viruses. It's unsettling to him as he skims over the pages. Nature can be so cruel. Braxton sits there watching TV, wondering when or if the small mysterious box will make it's way back to him.
