The clanging in the air vents catches Braxton's attention more than anyone else. Something is traversing through the air ducts. He follows the noise, only to be stopped by a psychologist and gets taken back to the room. Kaden hides away while this happens. It's better to focus on finding an exit now, then to go back to your friend and be stuck in your room. He won't leave him, but he wants to confirm that there's an exit and wants to be able to locate it. Braxton is forced into his room, but does not fight back. His submissive nature does not serve him well as it discourages him from fighting back.
He does have something good about him. Immunity to this virus, this infection that's being spread around is not effective on Braxton. Kaden doesn't seem to have it, but that might be a different reason.
Soon, the mysterious clanging slowly comes to Braxton's and Kaden's room. It stops on an air vent entrance, which then unscrews itself open.
