GTX 1070 -- MAX SETTINGS -- 1440p -- Mirror's Edge: Catalyst -- (OVERCLOCKED)
All settings on Hyper, Motion Blur off. This is an overclocked GTX 1070 Founder's card. I will do a "stock clock" video, when I get a chance.
Nvidia DSR is used. Performance is 1440p. Video playback is 1080p.
At around the 13:11 mark, I turn on V-Sync, and you might notice that the clock for the 1070 starts changing around a lot. Near as I can tell, Pascal tries to save power by turning the clock down, when it thinks the clock isn't needed. But in its current implementation, it just creates a situation where the clock speed is constantly changing. I can't say I'm a fan of it.
