Guaranteed Running Attacks in Pro Wrestling (NES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
In Pro Wrestling for the NES - which is a pretty good game - there is a cheesy way to manipulate the AI into getting smacked by your running attacks by exploiting bad AI.
Generally, when you approach your computer opponent with a running attack, they will dodge the attack by shifting a few pixels upwards to sidestep your running lariat or jumping hyperknee with the minimum required movement.
However, if you can bait your opponent toward the very top of the ring (which isn't hard to do, usually) they will have no room to dodge since there is no way for them to move up. Therefore, you will be successful with j7ust about every running attack you attempt.
Note that this method can absolutely carry you through the first maybe six or seven matches in the 1-player game mode. Eventually the AI becomes tougher and they will become privy to your shenanigans, but even in the later matches of 1P mode, you can still get it to work every now and then.
