Skip Ice Man's disappearing blocks in Mega Man (NES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts30
1,854Yesterday I posted a cool glitch you can do in Heat Man's stage, so AS REQUESTED BY ANTHONY CURLEY today I am posting a hot glitch you can do in Ice Man's stage. So here's a hot glitch you can do in Mega Man for the NES! It allows you to zip through portions of the stage, and using this trick, you can skip the not-at-all-annoying section with those not-at-all-annoying disappearing blocks.
First grab the Magnet Beam in Elec Man's level then head to Ice Man.
Then head over to that high platform just after the water section. You'll want to be on the right edge of that platform (or at least close to it). It's the same location where I showed off that game crash bug in this video - https://youtube.com/shorts/Ouzqfm6xNl4?feature=share
Once Mega Man is on top of that platform, you'll need to create a platform with the Magnet Beam that is just adjacent to the bottom of your score. So if the platform you've created is just barely touching the bottom of your score and NOT overlapping it, you're good.
Next, quickly jump on to this platform and then create another platform to the right using the Magnet Beam. This platform needs to be maximum length or close to it. This platform will be very long and close to the top of the screen. Once you've created this platform, let go of the B button and jump on top of it and tap Left on the D-Pad. When you do this, you will begin to zip to the right.
After the zip is complete, Mega Man will stop and he will be out of sight at the top of the screen. Jump to the right, and continue to hold the jump button and Right on the directional pad. Mega Man will transition into the area below - this is the first room with the not-at-all-annoying disappearing blocks. While still holding jump and right, mash the B button.
If you're still holding jump and right as you enter this room, Mega Man will jump in mid-air to the right. And if you're mashing the B button, you'll create a small platform using the Magnet Beam. Mega Man will then land on this platform at the upper right corner of the room. Now do a full jump to the right, and Mega Man will transition into the next room once more. This is the second room with the not-at-all-annoying disappearing blocks, but you'll spawn into this room at the upper right corner, and skip right over the not-at-all-annoying blocks section.
Congratulations! You just did a hot glitch in Ice Man's level and you zipped and skipped!
BONUS: If you jump at any point WHILE Mega Man is zipping in this manner, you will somehow lose a life!
