Guardians Frontline. In the last episode, we learned the basic killed some bugs, defended a base, and made it back to the main ship. Which is where we start off in the ship on the bridge. Mission's and information and accessed here, The floating Ai ball begins to inform you of your next mission. Defend a refinery. An awesome hologram blueprint of the area you have to defend is projected in front of you. It is actually very useful to get a sense of what you need to do. Off you go to defend the refinery. You get a couple of robots to start with. The waves begin! Gathering the crystals is key for more buildings, so always shoot the crystals. Love the verity of what you can build and the freedom to place them almost anywhere. The optional telaport stations are actually a very fast and reliable way to gain a tactical position. I don't use them enough, same for the Jetpack I forgot about a few times, but I could have used it more to get away from bugs or gain a high ground for a shot. Love the feel of the lazer pistol does great damage with cool effect. A supply drop, a damage multipler, an awesome way to help the player. A new bug type and a big one at that, a sorta wyvern/dragon looking bug. With the Anti air missle and the damage multipler, we easily take it down. As the wave ends, I get another supply drop with 500 crystals, I immediately begin placing as many cannons as I can. Got to say it was awesome seeing a wall of cannons. The next wave begins a new type of bug crawling its way onto the battlefield, a dark green armadillo shap bug that when close or shot at explodes. Considering the danger of these bomber crawlers, I head up in the telaport tower for a better view. Last wave, I spawn more robots to help. I stand back and let my small army of cannons destroy the remaining bugs! Mission complete, back to the ship!
Join me in the next episode. Thanks for watching. Please comment, which is your favorite type of bug or rather least favorite.
