Lost in Random! The story starts with a dice, and the narrator begins talking about a world you probably only remember in your nightmares. Where they play games that decide their fate. The dice grows limbs and comes to life, apparently named Fourtone, is called to action, and the world is brought into the scene. Some kind of circular arena, Fourtone does some sick flips and lands on the back of a white owl like masked girl, like a backpack. Equipped with a fragmented ice crystal like blade. Arena has little blue cubes all over. Just up ahead, a little higher up is an outdoor structure. Inside another girl defending herself from two smaller enemies and one big one. Collect the blue cubes, which I'm pretty sure are dice, to gain energy to draw cards. Option for regular and charged attack with a stagger effect. At full energy, throw the dice and pause time in the dice dimension. You can move, but the enemy can't. Good time to prepare or reposition. Draw a card, a new weapon, a spiked hammer. Charge for a spin attack. Stange enemies, robotic and magical, coming slowly at you, destroy them. The other girl finishes off here last opponent. As she celebrated, one last enemy throws a spear! At the same time, the dice is thrown and lands on a one! The screen fades to black, leaving just the dice, like in the beginning of the story. That time has come to an end. Our story begins now, in the town of Onecroft. Visually, we see six layers and go all the way down. A wooden, handmade, mock dice is being held above the head of a girl named Even, proclaiming to be the queen throws the dice and decides her friends fate. Obviously, the kids are playing pretend. A six for Bernard, the good life by the queen. Jealous Lucky pushes the dice and makes it a 3, doomed to fight forever, annoyed with Lucky Even goes to confront her only to have her sister Odd tell them to knock it off and wrap it up. She promised her parents to bring her back before bedtime. A bell begins to ring, the queen is coming, they say. Odd quickly crushed the mock dice, and now they have to hurry. A stange spider like machine with a house for a head crawls its way down a line. Run along the dock walkways in a cute and gloomy teapot town. With spider houses above and smaller ones cutting you off, you keep running! One of them is cutting you off, using a newly acquired slingshot you shoot the button target activating a mechanical arm that swings. Clobbering the spider house, you move onward. Carefully making are way up behind the crowd, nanny Fourtona makes a speech explaining why the spider houses are taking the children. The queen declared that when a child reaches the age of 12, they roll her dice, and the number they get decides the type of life they get. Random Rules is the Monta, everyone says. Bernard found a crawl space to use while to sneak past, Fourtona assures the parents this is the way and the only way, and that you should be happy. Running quickly home, a few teapots on an island. Their parents were worried and rushed them into the basement in a desperate attempt to hide them. Even pulls out a cupcake with a candle and presents a stuffed animal. Happy birthday, and just as Odd goes to blow out the candle, she snatches up the spider houses. Brought to nanny Fourtona Odd is reminded that Every child must roll the dice and to be grateful the queen graces you with her presence. Odd rolls the dice and lands on a one, but it magically rolled to a six. Off to live with the queen as a sixer and have your dreams fulfilled or so they say. Even's parents hold her back as her sister is taken away from her. Even's nightmare is just beginning!
