Guild Wars 2 is a very different MMORPG experience and focuses on horizontal progression as opposed to vertical progressions found in may popular MMOs. There are many benefits to this type of progression system, but one of the potential drawbacks is that there aren't obvious reset points for new players to jump in the game. For instance, World of Warcraft (WOW) has a vertical progression system that often resets at the start of a new expansion, which allows new players an entry point to catch up to existing players. Guild Wars 2 doesn't have these reset points, which makes the question of when to jump into the game a little bit more confusion. Hopefully, this video will help clear up some of the confusion!
