[Gunborg: Dark Matters] - All S Ranks (Hardcore)
4Interesting action platformer with some neat ideas. It's not really my type of game, but I appreciate the design put into it. Basically the main thing is that you have a shield ability which can be used to bounce on spikes and reflect bullets. If you kill enough enemies without being hit, you get dark energy which makes your weapons more powerful until you get hit again. The main game was reasonable to S rank, even on hardcore difficulty. The survival levels, however, really challenged me. The 2nd and 3rd one in particular can get out of control really fast. My goal was to survive for as long as possible without being hit, so I could kite and use up the health for the final stretch instead of wasting it early. I cut out deaths in the main levels, since it'd make for a lame video to include the full runs. You can get S rank with a good amount of deaths and there's checkpoints for each room.
