Jesse reaches the train and gets onboard, proceeding to fight his way through Carson's men as they try to hunt him down. Eventually, he reaches the train's engine where more of Carson's riflemen try to kill him. After fending them off, Jesse forces the machinist to shut the train down, stopping it just in time for the train to miss Zee by mere inches. After freeing her, Jesse announces his intention of returning to town and killing Carson. However, Zee reveals that Carson is planning to leave the town at dawn as he has a meeting with the state senator...
