Ugh, finally, away from the bullshit mandatory damagefloors!

Tower Of Babel always has and always will be an epic map.

Why?

Cyberdemon. A 12-foot tall, 3-rocket-volley launching nightmare. With goat legs.

The addition of the Mancubi on the PSX kinda took that somewhat powerful first impression that the Cyberdemon on E2M8 gives, but I guess it does add to the challenge (although infighting can actually make things easier in the long run). I play somewhat sloppy here due to the fact that I know that I'm leaving alive, with 200% health/armour to boot.

Hell Beneath is the stuff of nightmares when pistol starting. Ok, so the PSX version is much friendlier (the lack of 4-Baron-Rape particularly stands out to me), but the presence of numerous Shotgun Guys can turn an unwary (or just plain crap) player into a dead idiot. I also call bullshit on the 'Secrets' tally at the end. I run over that tiny box several fucking times, and I'm STILL not awarded my 'A Secret Is Revealed!' message.

Screw that. Because I found the secret. They just didn't want to reward me for it.

Boring info stuff:
During this run I'll be using savegames through the Ultimate Doom half, then starting afresh for the Doom II half.

Not a maxrun series, or a speedrun, or any of that. Just me, doing what I do, on Ultra-Violence.
