Continue where I left off, and now with a trusty magnum at my side, I finally have a bit more firepower to take on the creatures in Black Mesa. There has been some flooding in various offices, and just like in the original Half-Life I'll need to turn the power off in order to proceed.
The security turrets prove a problem, but after several shots from my pistol, it's clear that the Black Mesa turrets aren't as strong as those in the original Half-Life. I find a few security guards who've survived and after their help and then liberating them of their ammo, I continue on.
The scientists are quickly getting picked off, and as I make my way up to the higher levels of the Black Mesa facility, it's clear that the headcrabs have been having a great time in finding hosts.
But now, there are rumors that there are soldiers coming to help me... is this true?
