Halls of Torment 1.0 || Gameplay - Day 7 || Unlocked Agony
0Another day for Halls of Torment.
So today was a special day... First I went with Swordsman in Frozen Depths, because I didn't to that run with that character yet.
Then I finished Chambers of Dissonance with Warlock. With Chambers of Dissonance finished, I unlocked the new Agony mode, which adds extra stuff to get levels harder.
AND I also unlocked a new character called Landsknecht. The Landsknecht is a hero whose weapons are the Arquebus and Grenades. His main weapon is slow but does a lot of damage, but... a projectile has a lot of piercing, but its hit area is very narrow... so you need to build it with some other abilities to work.
I decided that I would try this agony mode. I tried it with Landsknecht, and it worked. I defeat the boss.
And what this mode adds are artifacts, extra buckets to send extra items up. Characters also get upgraded items (green) in this area. But these items can't be sent up with well, so they are for one run only.
Artifacts can then be used to get agony mode even harder. So each artifacts gives you agonly level +1. And there are 15 artifacts slots, so this will be hard later ;)
So I tried the same with Archer and the first artifact and I FAILED! :D
My third run in this Agony world was with Shield Maiden... and man this character is fun to play. I was going for a full tank build, and I own it.
It was done with frist artifact.
Then was the time for Sorceress and Agony level on Ember Grounds... The run was successful, and with this I unlocked additional artifacts.
And then I noticed something strange.. The wellkeeper was not there any more... and the gold trails of his leads to something called Vault.
Vault access is something that is open now (gates were closed till now), and you can go down by stairs and you can now enter The Vault.
The Vault can be opened (you are paying tribute to enter Vault) by giving money to some strange face looking doors.
And this area is hard, I will wait with this a little.
