Halo 2: Anniversary (The Master Chief Collection) - Part 7
0Part 7 time. I finish The Oracle, kill the Heretic Leader, and pick up where Master Chief’s story left off with Delta Halo. The Arbiter takes a Banshee in pursuit of the Heretic Leader.
The Arbiter takes a Banshee and tries to land on the platform where the Heretic Leader landed, but crashes into it. He manages to hold on to the edge, raise himself up, and get inside. The Arbiter fights through the station as he takes on Flood, Heretics, and Sentinels. He arrives at an open conveyor room, where he fights his way and makes it to the hangar. He catches the Heretic Leader as he is about to board the Seraph, and he confronts him. 343 Guilty Spark also appears, and this reveals that he survived the destruction of Installation 04. The Heretic Leader spawns two holo-drones. The Arbiter takes on the drones and kills the Heretic Leader. The Arbiter tries to explain to Spark that the Heretic imperiled the Great Journey, and Tartarus appears and captures 343 Guilty Spark with his gravity hammer, tossing him into the gravity lift. He tells the Arbiter that they are leaving the Soell system.
Meanwhile, both the Solemn Penance and the UNSC In Amber Clad both exit slipspace. In Amber Clad approaches another Halo ring, to the surprise of Commander Miranda Keyes and Sergeant Johnson. They approach Installation 05, also known as Delta Halo. An amazed Commander Keyes explains that she thought Halo was a superweapon, with Cortana telling her that it is. Commander Keyes asks Cortana for the information she has on Installation 04. Pascal finds that the enemy ship has stopped above the ring. They decide to enter Installation 05, with Commander Keyes explaining that it's important that they track down capture the Prophet of Regret. tasks the Master Chief with taking the first platoon and securing a landing zone on Installation 05. They land on Installation 05. A Phantom shows up to drop off forces, which the Master Chief and his team fight off. A second Phantom arrives with more troops, and the Chief takes them out. A Pelican arrives to send in a Warthog, and they drive to a bridge. After fighting off Covenant forces, another Pelican arrives to send in a Scorpion tank.
