I play through Tayari Plaza in the second part of Halo 3: ODST. This level is played from Buck's point of view, and his objective is to get to Dare's crash site at Tayari Plaza before the Covenant does.

Buck places a waypoint at Tayari Plaza, and begins to head for the Plaza to get to Dare’s crash site. Covenant forces stand in his way, with Buck shooting his way through them. Buck meets with Private Chip Dubbo, who tells him that some buildings are open, and he should flank the Covenant on the streets. Buck comes across dead Elites and Brutes and tells Dare that it's like a family feud, with Dare explaining through COM that the information is classified. After running through the city and taking out Brutes and Grunts, Buck comes across a Deployable Lookout Tower and takes out the Covenant troops clustered around it. Buck takes out a large number of Grunts, Brutes, Jackals, Elites, and a pair of Hunters in a long shootout. He takes the blast doors and arrives at Dare's crash site, taking out Grunts. Buck makes his way down and opens her crash Pod, but an Engineer pops out, and it is killed by a sniper rifle shot from Romeo. Buck asks Romeo if he heard from Mikey or the Rookie, but he hasn't. Buck states that they need to link up with the UNSC battle net, adding that the F-99 Wombat must have seen where they hit. Romeo asks Buck if Dare ever told him what she wanted, but Buck states that what matters now is getting his men out of New Mombasa.

The Rookie is still at Tayari Plaza, and he picks up new NAV data via a beacon at Uplift Reserve.
