1Hardcore Mode is a new way to play video games! During the course of this playthrough, I will be undergoing some sort of self-imposed challenge throughout each chapter.
As it is the final level in the game, the challenge for Bowser's Castle is that I must only use the Mystery Item (that means Mario cannot attack or anything). I have activated a code that keeps the Mystery item in my inventory at all times.
