Harvestella Review: To Download or not to Download Demo Better than Animal Crossing New Horizons?
Harvestella has seemingly gotten lost in the other high profile Switch games like Bayonetta 3, Mario and Rabbids, Persona 5, and Neir Automatata, but I am hear to tell you why you should not overlook this game that is releasing on November 4th.The Harvestella demo dropped on the NIntendo eShop right after I had finished playing Xenblade Chronicles 2 so I figured I would take a look. I had never played a farming/life sim. But to my surprise this game seems to be much more traditional JRPG with the farming and life sim added to it. I completed the demo 3 separate times with each run taking between 3-5 hours and I have been keeping up with the previews other outlests have been doing, which have been pretty sparse. I think the exciting thing about this game is that it is a new IP and the posibilities the developers are afforded are endless since they do not have to stick with norms for a series. If you are interested in the story for this game, check out my demo review on my channel, but the short of it is that you arrive to a land with Amneisia and the you are given a house and farm and the events take place from there. In the game, there are dungeons to navigate, cities to explore and a farm to cultivate.
