HD Retrovision Sega Genesis Cables and Retrotink 2x (Featuring Ninja Turtles - Hyperstone Heist)
The video features a complete play-through of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Hyperstone Heist on a Model 2 Sega Genesis with a Sega 32x. The system was connected using HD Retrovision cables to Mike Chi's awesome RetroTink 2x line doubler.
Early on (during the demo), the RetroTink is switched from Line Doubling to Smoothing but it does not really come through with the elgato capture device. (Does anybody know how to capture 480p data at HD levels?)
I am amazed at how good the graphics look on this console, originally released in 1989 (and subsequently revised).
*** Note: I purchased everything in this video myself. Neither, the HD Retrovision nor RetroTink were sent to me. I purchased it myself, as well as the game.
Are you impressed with this new technology for retro games?
