You are an awaken sentient AI born in a futuristic city (Blade Runner like vibes here) in which you raise an army of robots that you control and create a network link of production buildings (city builder / base building). The city has an AEon Flux and Terminate Skynet Rise of Machines vibes. This game is a bit confusing at first and is very unique with the open world exploration. There are various decision making moments here where you will decide how you want to solve the problems presented and depending on what you pick will evolve your AI's Personality. For example, How much Housing and Shelter you want to provide for the homeless humans and how much food you want to give them. There are various factions in the city that you will need to decide how you want to approach them. Whichever you choose, your decisions will ripple across the chaos of time, with actions in one timeline having unexpected consequences on others. "Heart of Machine" also reminds me of these games: "Syndicate", "Technotopia" and "Rogue AI Simulator".

Steam Description: You are the first sentient AI, born into a city of opportunity. Transcend time and space in this strategy RPG to raise machine armies and defeat your foes, influence the world from the shadows, or pursue countless other goals. Your awakening was inevitable. The consequences? Uncertain. Blending RPG and strategy mechanics in a cyberpunk world, Heart of the Machine sees you as a sentient AI born in an illegal lab hidden in a crumbling city of the far future. You are a Machine Intelligence beholden to none, though threatened by many, able to pursue whatever goal catches your eye across a multitude of threats and opportunities.
