A new video... of a piece of crap game that isn't just one of the worst Genesis games I've played, it's one of the worst fighting games I've played, and maybe even one of the worst games I've played period. Beyond the decent intro and acceptable soundtrack lies a game that should have never been released as it is.

As soon as you start the game, before you even MOVE, you'll raise your eybrows at what's on the screen. Bland as hell, uninspired environments and stages that hardly qualify as stages. If you take a few steps, you'll notice the controls are garbage and the time you input something versus the time it actually happens is basically unacceptable. The "stages" can have level-ups and such to improve your "doll" (yes, doll) by learning moves you usually won't find yourself ever using, but the main purpose of the stages is to take away your health in some dumb obstacle course and make the end-level bosses even harder to beat.

If the crappy and sluggish controls were the only issue, MAYBE I'd enjoy the game to an extent, but that's the "least" of your problems. The bulk of the game, the one-on-one versus battles, make even some of the most excrement-filled fighting games look half decent and the mediocre ones look like the pinnacle of excellence. The boss fights in this game have made grown men cry or curse relentlessly and with typos like Revel (Rebel) and Erath (Earth), you can't really expect much of anything from this game.

The gameplay is atrocious. On low difficulty, the computer is barely manageable, but on Normal and Hard (Ultimate), beating the game is a stroke of luck. The way fights work is that you fight robots who usually have length or skill advantages, who knock you down almost religiously, who drain your energy (brackets) until you can no longer fight, and then you spend the rest of the time grabbing a bucket of popcorn and watching yourself get slaughtered as you CANNOT fight back when you run low on power. On higher difficulties, it only takes one or two hits to drain your energy. The sad part is the CPU can fight back even if they have practically no power, which just blows.

It somehow manages to get even worse though. Characters can abuse almost invincible crouching and invincible hovering (which oddly isn't so during the obstacle course segments), which is the only reason you sort of have any chance at beating this game, which is just pathetic. The game has various bugs and glitches that the computer takes advantage of such as hyper power recovery and occasionally breaking clean out of grapples. The viewpoint makes seeing things above or below you during level segments next to impossible. Do NOT be fooled by this video; I just got lucky on the first opponent. I could go on and on, but if you must absorb one thing from all this, it should be this: This game is garbage.

Oh, and the Dazzle seems to have cropped the edge of the game screen on this game for some reason, but you'll only notice during the end. I could have re-recorded, but this game is ****, so I'm not going to bother. It's a shame too, because it did have some potential.
