Trying out the new Killzone crossover gear, with the WASP Launcher, StA-52 Assault Rifle, and new armour bonus Acclimated. Mission ended up being very fast with how we split up, but got a good taste of how the new gear operates.
The WASP is the pick of the bunch, working incredibly well against the biggest threats on the Illuminate front so far. While the Overseers are pretty tanky against most other weapons including most of the AP4 generalists, the WASP can one-shot them easily in burst mode, with Watchers going down just as fast. Harvesters are a little tougher, but will still go down with 2 or 3 magdumps in burst mode, which is exceptionally quick if a little ammo hungry. Your only weakness is when enemies get too close for the missile to home properly, so be prepared to whip out your primary.
Artillery mode seems a little more niche, using an entire mag for AOE chaff clear - this could be useful against hordes of Voteless, but not particularly ammo efficient.
In most cases, you'll be using your primary - the new StA-52 Assault Rifle isn't bad there, somewhere in between the Liberator and the Liberator Carbine in terms of damage and firerate. Nothing spectacularly different from what we already have, so if you're not prepared to shell out those super credits for it, I wouldn't worry too much - its larger mag does make it nice for hordes of chaff, though the longer reload time does mean you have to be careful there.
Last of all, the new armour has an interesting niche with its multi-elemental resist - here I can feel a little safer using my flame nades and turret, whilst still benefiting from the arc resistance in case I get too close to a Watcher or Harvester.

Build:
The WASP handles Harvesters, Watchers and Overseers pretty efficiently - for anything that gets too close, whip out the StA-52 and start hosing them down. The AR also takes care of any shields in need of overloading, with the Grenade Pistol dealing with any Warp Ships - the Walking Barrage gives me the easy option of taking out multiple ships in a line though, with enough salvos to take care of shields and then the ship itself with no help.
Incendiary Impacts, the new Flame Sentry and old reliable Gatling Sentry, and the Eagle Strafing Run means I have plenty of crowd clear on hand for the Voteless.
