With the Tatsujin/Truxton FDS cover out of the way, I was ready to tackle the intro theme of another Toaplan shooting game classic, Hellfire! More specifically, the superior Mega Drive version of Hellfire made by Toaplan themselves!
Like with the Tatsujin/Truxton cover, this one turned out simply fantastic, as I used a mix of chord styles from the likes of Koji Kondo (a la Shin Onigashima) and Junko Tamiya (a la Bionic Commando and Gun.Smoke) to put together something truly bombastic with the power of the Famicom Disk System. So, I hope you guys get a kick out of this one, and be sure to check out Hellfire on the Mega Drive whenever you can (there's also a neat PC Engine CD version, though some may find it a tad too easy). ^w^
