Notification for Edwards Foundation 5th Edition Free UPSC CSE Coaching Scholarship Program 2025-2026
Edwards Foundation is pleased to announce the selection process for its Civil Services (UPSC CSE) Free Coaching Program for the year 2025-2026.
With the recent revision of the WBCS syllabus to closely align with the UPSC Civil Services Examination, this program will now benefit aspirants preparing for both UPSC and WBCS. The initiative aims to support and guide dedicated candidates from all backgrounds in their pursuit of administrative careers for both UPSC and WBCS.
Features of this program:
1. Regular physical classes (Monday to Friday - GS and CSAT, Sunday - Optional )
2. Experienced and qualified faculty
3. Optional paper:
1.Botany (by Rashila Rai, M.Sc (Botany).
2.Public Administration (by Phinjo Wangyal Gurung M.Sc, MA)
3.Political Science and International Relation (by Phinjo Wangyal Gurung, M.Sc, M.A.)
4. Topic wise doubt clearing session
5. One to one personal mentorship
6. Daily answer writing practice
7. Weekly and monthly mock tests in an exam simulated environment
8. Update class notes will be provided
9. Library facility
10. Class support up to selection
Selection Process:
Candidates will be chosen through an open competitive test conducted in two stages:
Written Exam
Personality Test
Based on the marks obtained in the Written Exam, a number of candidates will be shortlisted for the Personality Test. Final selection will be determined by the combined marks from both the Written Exam and the Personality Test.
Benefits:
Selected candidates will receive a full year of free coaching for the Civil Services Exam in Darjeeling. This includes study materials and other necessary infrastructure at no cost.
Classes:
Regular classes will be held at Edwards Foundation Coaching Centre, P-Kothi, C.R.Das Road (Upper Bhutia Busty), Darjeeling.
Exam Pattern:
Written Exam: 100 marks
100 MCQs, 1 mark each
Duration: 2 hours
Personality Test: 20 marks
Syllabus:
Questions will be modeled after the UPSC/WBCS Exam, focusing on general knowledge expected of a graduate student.
Eligibility:
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline
Age: Minimum 21 years
Merit-Based Selection:
There will be no reservations. Selection is purely based on merit.
