You wake up with a strange tattoo and must figure out why you can't remember anything. Hunt critters, attempt to investigate the paranormal and raise funding to better equip yourself. Aiming is pretty difficult and dodging is critical to survive. Hitboxes are an issue though as the cramp space and attack width of enemies make it easy to get hit regardless of when you dodge. The tutorial explains the controls well enough, but it can take some time getting use to the tools used for evidence gathering. Level layouts are repetitive so far with the enemy count reaching four right now. I still need to test out more weapons and better scanning tools, so consider this description a first impression.
