I have a good reason for saying that though.

A 2 shot kill weapon that becomes a 3 shot when encountering a target with a heavyset of ANY kind.

Why on Earth would I pay so much in repairs for some promising upgrade that's not even reliable in actual performance??

Also pair that 6 rounds with a 3.3s reload (2nd slowest next to the Nagant M1895) you're going to get caught in reload in CQC (close quarters combat).

And as mentioned in the previous video with the C96 Mauser, US pistols have a (very) horrible round velocity which forces you to be in CQC most of the time. Even so, you still run the risk of missing easy shots when your target is strafing.

Soooooo yeah. GM 9mm pistols over the US .45 cal pistols anyday. The M1911 is not bad tho.
