Hero’s Trial I is a major turning point in Destiny Rising’s campaign. After Zev senses a temporal rift, she and Wolf set out to investigate space‑time anomalies . Your first task is to find and question a Lightbearer in the plaza outside the hall . In the cutscene, Kabr and Shams discuss a mysterious coin that seems to resonate with the rift . The coin is revealed to be linked to The Nine, and a disembodied voice instructs you to search Haven for clues .
You’ll need to find three clues about the Illusions in Haven . Completing these objectives triggers a meeting with Xur, an Agent of the Nine , who invites you to enter the Singularity Portal and prove your worth . Inside the portal, you’ll face a cosmic challenge set by the Nine; finishing it leads to a deeper understanding of their realm . The Nine exist “between existence and nothingness”—neither Light nor Dark —and their Realm of the IX (also called Singularity: Chaos) can drop rare artifacts like Unrelenting Evolution .
