3High on Life: High on Knife is a large expansion to the 2022's humorous, absurdist sci-fi first-person shooter, High on Life. Just like the base game, it was developed by Squanch Games.
High on Life: High on Knife is set three years after the base game, once again starring the Bounty Hunter. Knifey, one of his chatty weapons, need his help in finding a mysterious package. They both therefore set out on a journey to a terrifying planet full of dying snails. Soon, they find themselves in the crosshairs of Mux, the most wanted boss in the galaxy.
High on Life: High on Knife doesn't significantly change the mechanics, instead introducing new content. Aside from a new questline, there's also plenty of new characters, including two new weapons: Harper, a former military weapon dealing with its traumatic past, and B.A.L.L, a gun inspired by flipper tables, operated by a group of tiny creatures. There are also new enemies to fight and powerful bosses to face.
High on Life: High on Knife is not a standalone expansion, requiring the base version of High on Life. The expansion features an all-star cast, with such actors as Gabourey Sidibe (American Horror Story) and Sarah Sherman (Saturday Night Live).
