I recently just got the G27QC monitor and connected it using display port with my GTX1080TI. Refresh rate is set at 165Hz and it looks and feels very smooth. Gaming mostly Warzone I have no issues. What I am experiencing is a strange glitch or like horizontal lines randomly only when using the desktop and browsing the web. They are visible only for a very short period les than a second. In full screen games I never experienced any issues. Does any one here maybe have any suggestions? I have already updated the Graphics drivers, Display port firmware for the 1080ti, used another new display cable, disabled G-sync, and also re-flashed the monitor firmware using the OSD sidekick app. Still the issue persist.

UPDATE: Some more details and a possible fix. So I have a dual monitor setup. The G27QC is running at 2560x1440 165Hz (Display Port) and an AOC 2250w 1920x1080 60Hz (DVI).

What I noticed is that the GPU memory clock were idling at full frequency. I now lowered the refresh rate from 165Hz to 120Hz in desktop mode and until now I did not see the issue again. So this may not be an issue with the monitor or it's firmware but actually the GPU and higher than 120Hz refresh rates. I will try to set the 165Hz in-game instead now.
