1. Eliminating enemies makes it easier to remain undetected, but a silent assassin leaves the world around him untouched.
2. Recover evidence to improve your rating.
3. Point shooting allows 47 to deal with his enemies swiftly and wiht great precision by using his instinct.
4. If you deal with all witnesses to at crime, remaining enemies will be unaware of your actions.
5. Silenced weapons are harder for your enemies to trace, but they have more recoil.
6. People wearing the same outfit as you will be suspicious of your disguise if you get too close.
7. Eliminating your targets with accident killing or with the signature fiber wire will earn you more rating points.
8. Always scout the area. Look for vents, ledges or alternative routes to your objective.
9. There are many objects that can either be used for accident kills, or to bypass or distract your enemies.
10. In a crowd, turning your back to suspicious enemies will prevent detection. If your disquise is blown, either eliminate all witnesses or find another disguise.
11. The difficulty you select adds a score bonus. As you increase difficulty, so will the score bonus increase.
12. Items found can be thrown and will distract nearby enemies.
13. Remember to hide the bodies of your victims.
14. If you are being arrested, do not run. Instead, fake surrender, or calmly walk to a secluded area, then deal with your enemy.
15. If you are spotted entering a body container, your enemies will not give up looking for you.
16. If a body has been found, guards will be more alert.
17. Taking the same disquise multiple times will not change how the world perceives you.
18. When wielding a single weapon, use precision aim to increase precision.
19. In a firefight, deal with your enemies swiftly to contain the situation, or slip away and hide until they stand down.
20. Be careful carring a visible weapon. In most cases this will draw attention to you.
21. If your disquise is blown, either eliminate all witnesses or find another disguise.
22. If you can manage to slip away and hide, your enemy will lose track of you.
23. You can hide in body containers. While doing so you are completely hidden. Your enemies will eventually give up hunting.
24. Many areas are off limits to 47. Either infiltrate such areas unnoticed, or find a disquise that is allowed in the area.
25. Wait and listen to the people around you. They may give vital information, or simply let you know when the cost is clear.
26. Dual wielding weapons allows you to fire rapidly. Simply keep holding shoot.
27. Once an enemy is suspicious of you, you cannot trick them with instinct.
28. You can take down enemies from cover.
29. If you are caught trespassing, try to calmly leave the area, then your enemy might stand down.
30. While wearing a disquise, you can use instinct to trick enemies that would normally see through your disquise.
31. Killing non-targets will mean a score penalty
32. If you are engaged in combat, use cover and sprint when moving to avoid being pinned down.
33. Try to eliminate witnesses before they can raise the alarm.
34. You can dump bodies over railings and ledges.
35. Cover makes you hard to detect and protects you in combat. Use cover often.
36. Using instinct allows 47 to sense nearby enemies and to anticipate their movement.
37. Orange enemies shown on the radar know your identity. Either change disguise or eliminate them.
38. A body container can hide two bodies. You can be one of them.
39. You gain instinct by completing objectives, performing silent takedowns, assassinating targets or finding cleer ways to bypass enemies.
40. Every challange you complete will increase your potential score.
41. The fiber wire is extremely silent and allows you to drag bodies immediately.
42. Unsilenced weapons will draw a lot of attention, but they have less recoil and do slightly more damage.
43. Edged and piercing weapons can be used for deadly throws as well as distractions.
44. If someone tries to arrest you, fake surrender to lure them close for a surprise attack.
45. Leaving people alive is cleaner, but might complicate your efforts to remain undetected. Yet this is the mark of the silent assassin.
46. Use instinct to locate objects of interest.
47. In point shooting, either turn the camera and mark your targets, or aim and place more precise shots.
