Hard4Games reviews and plays Hotel Mario for the Philips CD-i. The CD-i had evolved from what was originally going to become the Super Nintendo CD add-on. Nintendo had partnered with Philips after breaking their partnership with Sony to make the infamous add-on cd unit. Sony's system became the PlayStation and Philips' unit became the CD-i after the project was ultimately scrapped.
