Altergaze, best known for pioneering the first 3D printed handheld VR HMD for smartphones, launched their second Kickstarter campaign last weekend during Gamescom, aiming to acquire funds for the launch of HoverGrease, their 5v5 top-down hero shooter that mixes the classical elements of a team-objective FPS with the fast-paced arcade-like game mechanics of a twin-stick game.
The campaign was welcomed by the public with very positive feedback and received an enthusiastic push from IGN, who exclusively released HoverGrease's newest Kickstarter trailer to the public, with over 45k views in the first day. Additionally, Madeye Bull, one of HoverGrease's most notable characters, was included in Gamescom's conclusion trailer as one of the highlights of the show. This is surely a testimony to the quality of the game and the great response of the audience.
