In this one minute game design we are taking a look at the draws in The Last of Us and dicussing how they are used to regulate the difficulty. A game designer is able to use a process called dynamic difficulty adjustment, or DDA, to design their game to regulatethe difficulty on the fly. The amount of supplies you have in TLOU affects how hard things are and containers like draws, cabinets and cupboards distribute resources as they are needed and the player is running low.
