How Foreign Flows Moved In First Half Of December 2022
During December 1 to December 15, foreign institutional investors poured money in Capital Goods, Real Estate, Consumer Services, FMCG and Materials. During the same time period, FIIs were sellers in Energy, Software & Services, Utilities, Consumer Durables & Apparel and Telecommunication Services.
Largest inflow was in Capital Goods to the tune of $395 million, making it the 11th consecutive fortnight of inflow. In the last six months, the capital goods sector has seen inflows to the tune of $2.3 billion. The energy saw the largest outflow of $270 million. During that time period, Nifty Energy gained around 3%, the outflow seems to be driven by 17% fall in Adani Transmission and 8% fall in Adani Green.
