In this more personal talk, I discuss how and why I ended up centering a portion of my scholarly career around the thought and works of Saint Anselm of Canterbury -- starting from an interest in his Proslogion "ontological" argument and leading into other aspects of his work.
I run through Saint Anselm's writings, discuss how the Institute for Saint Anselm Studies -- and two Benedictine monks -- fostered my calling to study Anselm, and I narrate a short history of my research on Anselm.
There's a bit of "bonus" photographic footage at the end
