When I did paid extra work, I could not believe how many times one scene had to be filmed. Sometimes 30 something takes. Say two people are talking or 3 people. Every time the camera shows a different person talking all the cameras, tracks, and countless other things had to be moved sometimes taking hours just to show the other persons dialog when they other was talking. Hours sometimes just for a couple sentences. What I am getting at is all that footage has to be cut and spliced together to look like it all runs together. And like that recorded video from game play with the different camera views is not all done in one record. I just watched a pretty cool video another guy made earlier and he put the video facts down. It was like 8 hours of footage I think he had to weed through and edit to get a 2 minute movie made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS0AeL07ny0
Hehe, I don't think its something I would ever get into. I have some great patience in the world editor but have none at my own driving skills.
