This is the story of getting an almost impossible World Record on Whistlestop Summit in Mario Kart World. When piecing this together, I still cannot believe the chain of events that preceded me converting successfully for World Record here. I think many parts of this story is relatable to anyone in their own speedrunning journey, from a beginner to a seasoned competitor. The ending to this story is so satisfying and I am glad that I can look back on this in the future to see that I did not give up on my goal. I hope you all enjoy this.
