The anabolic window is something you're never going to get away from. It shall be talked about from now till the end of time, meaning you're never sure whether you SHOULD be eating as soon as you finish working out or whether you're putting yourself under undue stress. Here's the thing...
You don't HAVE to do it. If you want to, awesome, but there's plenty of studies that show consuming protein and high-glycemic carbs within 30 minutes of a workout doesn't give you much of an advantage. It also doesn't hurt, but it's good to know the deal.
