Being a good DM in Dungeons and Dragons doesn't mean knowing the rules in and out, knowing how to perfectly balance encounters, or having insight into every bit of canonical lore. All you have to do is know what kind of fun your table is looking to have. A lot of folks out there will tell you what you need to do to be a good GM, but unless they're telling you THIS... you can tell'em I said they are wrong. Sorry not Sorry.
