In this video, I will show you how to access the hidden features on the Redmi Note 9 smartphone.
MIUI Developer Mode
Like other Android devices, Xiaomi smartphones including Redmi variants also embed a number of advanced useful features hidden in the secret menu called Developer Options or Developer Mode.
This menu is basically intended for use by advanced users, particularly app developers for app debugging and relevant purposes. Nonetheless, Developer mode is not made exclusive for advanced users.
That said, regular users can likewise access this menu and use some of the hidden features when needed.
Depicted in this tutorial video is the actual process of unlocking the developer options menu on the Redmi Note 9 smartphone.
Just follow these steps if you need help doing so.
First, you will need to find then tap the Settings icon from the Home or Apps screen to open the main settings menu.
While on the main settings menu, tap About phone.
Another window opens with software information and other relevant details of your phone.
To unlock developer options, successively tap on the MIUI version. Keep tapping on it until you will see a pop-up label beneath the screen, saying that You are now a developer!
Once you see that note, tap the back key to go back to the main settings menu.
On the settings menu, scroll down and find Additional settings.
Once you find it, tap on it to view more settings.
Scroll down to the bottom section of the next menu. There, you should see Developer Options added in the list.
To view and access the hidden features, just tap Developer Options.
You will then be routed to the Developer Options menu, with a long list of advanced features and settings.
Just scroll to view all items in the list and see the features that you'd like to use or manage.
Be sure not to alter the ones that you are not familiar with, so as not to mess up the phone's normal operation.
