Open the Xbox Guide:

On your controller, press the Xbox button (the large "X" button in the center).
This will open the Xbox Guide, which is a menu that appears on the left side of the screen.
Navigate to "Profile & System":

Use the left thumbstick on your controller to navigate to the "Profile & System" tab in the Xbox Guide.
Select "Settings":

In the "Profile & System" tab, scroll down and select "Settings."
Access Account Settings:

In the Settings menu, select "Account."
Select "Payment & billing" or "Payment options":

Look for an option like "Payment & billing" or "Payment options" and select it.
Add a Payment Method:

You should see an option to add a payment method. Select it.
Choose PayPal:

If you haven't added PayPal before, you'll be prompted to select the type of payment method you want to add. Choose "PayPal."
Sign In to PayPal:

Follow the on-screen prompts to sign in to your PayPal account. You will need to provide your PayPal email address and password.
Link Your PayPal Account:

Once you're signed in to PayPal, you may be asked to confirm that you want to link your PayPal account to your Xbox Live account. Confirm as instructed.
Confirm and Save:

After linking your PayPal account, confirm that the details are correct, and save the payment method.
