Apple Arcade is a gaming service rolled out by Apple in late 2019 that gives subscribers access to more than a hundred games they can play on their iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV. Users can play games online or download them to play offline. The games contain no advertisements, and can be shared between up to six family members.
Video Transcript:
Step 1. Tap to launch the "Settings" app on your iPhone or iPad. The Settings screen appears.
Step 2. Tap your profile name that appears at the top of the Settings screen. Your Apple ID profile screen appears.
Step 3. Tap "Subscriptions" in the list of menu options toward the top of the screen. The Subscriptions screen appears, displaying your active iPhone or iPad subscriptions, and your expired subscriptions.
Step 4. Tap the "Apple Arcade" subscription in your list of active iPhone or iPad subscriptions. An Edit Subscription screen appears, displaying information associated with your Apple Arcade subscription, including your Apple Arcade subscription's expiration date and upgrade options.
Step 5. Tap "Cancel" displayed toward the bottom of the Apple Arcade Edit Subscription screen. A dialog box appears asking if you're sure you want to cancel your Apple Arcade subscription.
Step 6. Tap to confirm you want to cancel the Apple Arcade service. You'll return to the Edit Subscription screen, where you can see in the information area that your Apple Arcade subscription has been cancelled. Additionally, when you back out to the Subscription screen, you'll see your Apple Arcade subscription now be displayed in the Expired section.
