Video Transcript:
If you choose not to set up either two-factor authentication or two-step verification, you'll be required to set up security questions associated with your Apple ID that will be used to verify your identity whenever you log in to your Apple ID account through a Web browser. Additionally, you may be prompted to answer these security questions when you reach out to Apple support. If you either don't feel comfortable with the security questions you've set up with your Apple ID, or you think someone else may have this information and use it to hack into your account, you can change your Apple ID security questions at any time using the desktop version of a Web browser. Again, if you are using either two-factor authentication or two-step verification, you won't have security questions set up on your account, and therefore you won't see any options to change them.

Now let's walk through the steps to change your Apple ID security questions.

Step 1. Open your Web browser and navigate to appleid.apple.com. You'll arrive at the Apple ID website home page.

Step 2. Enter the username associated with your account in the Apple ID field in the center of the screen, and then click the right-pointing arrow on the right side of that field. The Password field appears directly beneath it.

Step 3. Enter the password associated with the Apple ID username you entered in the Password field, and then click the right-pointing arrow on the right side of the password field. You'll land on the Apple ID home screen for your account.

Step 4. Click the blue "Change Questions" text beneath Security Questions in the Security section. A dialog box prompting you to choose three new security questions and enter answers to those questions appears.

Step 5. Choose new security questions, enter the answers to those questions beneath the questions, and then click the blue "Continue" button at the bottom of the dialog box. The dialog box disappears, and a small green check mark appears to the right of Change Questions beneath Security Questions, verifying that your new security questions for your Apple ID have been saved.
