There are different ways to change the background image on your Xbox One home screen, depending on what kind of image you want to use. Here are some options:

If you want to use a solid color, you can choose from a color palette in the settings. To do this, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then select Profile & system - Settings - General - Personalization - My color & theme - My color. Choose a color, and then select OK.

If you want to use an achievement art from a game, you can select it from the settings as well. To do this, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then select Profile & system - Settings - General - Personalization - My background - Achievement art - Gaming. Choose a game from your list of games with achievements, then choose the achievement with the background art you want, and then select Set as background.

If you want to use a screenshot from a game, you can also set it as your background from the settings. To do this, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, then select Profile & system- Settings - General -Personalization - My background - Screenshot. Choose the one that you want, and then select More actions (โ€ฆ) - Background - Set as background.
