To change your profile background theme on Xbox One, you can follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select Profile & system - Settings - General - Personalization - My background.
Choose a background option from the list. You can select a solid color, achievement art, a screenshot, a custom image, or game art.
If you choose a custom image, you can use a USB device or the Microsoft Edge app to upload an image from the internet or your own device. Make sure the image is smaller than 3 MB and has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels for best results.

If you choose game art, you can select from various games that you have played or installed on your Xbox One. You can also browse the game art gallery to see more options.

After you select a background option, you can preview how it looks on your home screen. If you are satisfied, press the A button to confirm your choice.
